School’s Out for the Summer!

VMC, Inc. has just finished one of our week-long, comprehensive, practical, and intensive management schools. And what a week it was! We were able to provide forty hours of continuing education to both managers and veterinarians alike. This course is also a great preparatory program for the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) exam.

Mark Opperman, Sheila Grosdidier, Monica Dixon Perry and myself, Dr. Niqole Varani, covered such topics as daily operations, inventory, client service, human resources, financial management, how to control costs, fee schedules, capturing lost charges, marketing, social media, exam room coaching and more!

One of our students, Carli from Nebraska, states:

“The human resources information was excellent, and will be really useful for what I am currently dealing with!”

The take-away from this course is the foundational skills needed in the real-world situations that veterinary clinics face. The school helps to empower its students with the knowledge and know-how to accomplish tasks that may have previously seemed daunting.

VMC limits the number of students, aiming to provide an intimate learning environment with ample time to discuss the material and share with the group. This interactive course allows students to explore a broad range of topics and propose solutions to complex problems. Included with enrollment is our tools kit and six months of follow-up, one-on-one coaching, with our consultants. Our next management school will be in Denver, Colorado, in October 2017. Come join us for a fun-filled week and a full blown course in managing every aspect of your veterinary practice!
